On 16 September 2017, at the jubilee gala of its 60th Anniversary, the International Road Carriers Association in Poland awarded national honours to distinguished carriers and activists. The President of the Republic of Poland, Mr Andrzej Duda awarded the Vice President of the Management Board, Mr Adam Byglewski with the KNIGHT’S CROSS OF THE ORDER OF POLONIA RESTITUTA for his outstanding accomplishments in the development of the international road transport.
The Order ofPolonia Restituta (PR) is a Polish civil distinction awarded for remarkable achievements in the field of education, economy, national defence, social activity, civil service and outstanding credits towards the development of the cooperation between the Republic of Poland and other states and nations. Under the Act of 4 February 1921, the Parliament of the Republic of Poland established the Order of Polonia Restituta.
To me, being awarded with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta is a great distinction and honour. I would like to emphasise that it is your support and trust that have led me to this place in both my professional and private life. It is thanks to you and on your behalf that I act specifically and knowingly, putting my plans and dreams into practice.
